Reconnect I Exploration; Noticing Your Compassionate Part
July week 2
The following two weeks, the invitation is simply to notice different parts of yourself as they show up in everyday life.
Not to judge them.
Not to fix them.
Just to see them.
You can think of it as two inner voices or energies:
– the compassionate part of you that is gentle, understanding and supportive
– the protective part of you that is critical, pressured, reactive and fearful
Both are trying to help you in their own way.
During this first week, take a few quiet moments to reflect on the “compassionate part”;
When does this part in you show up?
What does it sound like?
How do you usually respond to this part of yourself?
You don’t need to change anything, just begin to notice the relationship you have with this part of yourself.
